Logo-Sijen

The SIJEN logo has three layers of lotus petals. The first (front, yellow) layer represents the five taxonomies I regard as essential for a well-rounded university programme of learning. The affective, psychomotor, interpersonal, cognitive and knowledge (or metacognitive) domains should all be engaged with at undergraduate and postgraduate levels regardless of discipline. These five petals also represent my representations of the five stages of the teacher-learner interaction.

The second (middle, orange) layer of petals represent the eight stages in my learning design model.

The third (rear, red) layer represents the nine elements in the SOLE model (Student-Owned Learning Engagement), an advanced learning design process to ensure constructively aligned curricula.

Together these constitute the scholarly basis for the consultancy services I offer to colleagues.
